輥道是軋鋼車間運送軋件的主要設(shè)備，其重量占整個軋鋼車間設(shè)備總重量的40%左右，是軋鋼車間中使用多的設(shè)備。軋件進出加熱爐，在軋機上往復(fù)軋制及軋后輸送到精整工序等工作均由輥道來完成。

支架多用型鋼制成，有焊接和螺栓連接兩種結(jié)構(gòu)。為了通用和便于制造，已把上述三種常用輥子的支架作成具有標(biāo)準(zhǔn)長度的通用構(gòu)件，在設(shè)計時可直接選用。
