冷床是冶金軋鋼行業(yè)對軋制產(chǎn)品（螺紋鋼、園鋼、鋼管等）有效進行冷卻的工作臺面。冷床由機械傳動系統(tǒng)、水冷卻系統(tǒng)、冷床工作臺面、固定支架等方面組成。冷床主要有拔齒式冷床、齒條步進式冷床、撥爪式冷床、運載鏈式冷床、滾盤式冷床等。

針對角鋼試生產(chǎn)初期冷床下鋼發(fā)生傾翻的特點及原因，作業(yè)區(qū)技術(shù)人員指導崗位自己設(shè)計制作了防止角鋼傾翻裝置，通過冷床長度的測量及冷床裙板至冷床齒條距離，選定防止角鋼傾翻裝置的位置及長度，利用裝置自身重力，從而實現(xiàn)角鋼的穩(wěn)定下鋼，順利進入冷床。
