H型鋼的翼緣都是等厚度的，有軋制截面，也有由3塊板焊接組成的組合截面。工字鋼都是軋制截面，翼緣內邊有1：10坡度。

Ｈ型鋼的軋制不同于普通工字鋼僅用一套水平軋輥，由于其翼緣較寬且無斜度(或斜度很小)，故須增設一組立式軋輥同時進行輥軋。

The flange of the H steel is equal thickness, has a rolling cross section, and a  section of 3 plates. The I-steel is the rolling section, and the inner edge of the flange has the 1:10 gradient.

The rolling of H steel is different from ordinary I-beam only with a set of horizontal rolls. Because of its wide flange and no slope (or very small slope), a group of vertical rollers should be set up and rolled at the same time. 

按專業(yè)用途分，有油桶用板、搪瓷用板、彈板用板等；按表面涂鍍層分，有鍍鋅薄板、鍍錫薄板、鍍鉛薄板、塑料復合鋼板等。

According to professional use, there are oil  board, enamel plate, bulletproof plate and so on. According to surface coating, there are galvanized sheet, tin plate, leaded sheet, plastic  steel plate and so on.
