常用的軋輥材質(zhì)和用途見(jiàn)表。軋輥的性能和質(zhì)量一般取決于其化學(xué)成分和制造方式并可由其組織、物理和力學(xué)性能以及存在于軋輥內(nèi)部的殘余應(yīng)力類型來(lái)評(píng)估（見(jiàn)軋輥檢驗(yàn)）。

The material and use of the commonly used rolls are shown in the table. The performance and quality of roller generally depend on its chemical  and manufacturing way, and can be evaluated by its organization, physical and mechanical properties and the type of residual stress existing inside the roll (see roll test).

由于軋制過(guò)程是連續(xù)的過(guò)程，因此操作人員需要不斷檢測(cè)軋輥狀況，使生產(chǎn)出來(lái)的產(chǎn)品滿足用戶對(duì)更嚴(yán)格的公差和表面質(zhì)量的要求。

As the rolling process is a continuous process, the operator needs to continuously detect the roll status to meet the more stringent tolerance and surface quality requirements of the products produced.

焊接時(shí)堆焊成敗的關(guān)鍵環(huán)節(jié)，要獲得理想的堆焊層必須綜合考慮某些可變因素，如：焊接電壓、焊接速度、軋輥轉(zhuǎn)速、軋輥的保溫、焊接電流、焊接材料等，對(duì)一些含碳及合金元素高的輥芯，為防止脆性區(qū)的裂紋，除一定的預(yù)熱措施外，多采用低碳低合金過(guò)渡層進(jìn)行預(yù)先堆焊過(guò)渡層。Rollisanimportantpartoftherollingmill。  

In order to obtain an ideal surfacing layer, some variable factors must be cidered, such as welding voltage, welding speed, roll speed, roll insulation, welding current, welding material and so on. Some roll cores with high carbon and alloy elements, in order to prevent cracks in brittle zone, have to be cidered in order to obtain ideal surfacing layer. In addition, the low carbon low alloy transition layer is used to pre weld the transition layer.

當(dāng)軋制其它型材時(shí)，可以用水平機(jī)架更換機(jī)架。水平機(jī)架的軋輥有很深的孔型，而機(jī)架沒(méi)有。  

較大直徑的水平軋輥確定型鋼的的形狀，而較小直徑的一對(duì)立輥用于軋制邊部。當(dāng)坯料穿過(guò)傳統(tǒng)機(jī)架和機(jī)架精軋軋輥時(shí)，可以獲得很好的表面光潔度和尺寸公差。  

When rolling other profiles, the universal rack can be replaced with a horizontal rack. The roll of the horizontal frame has a very deep pass, but the universal rack does not.

Horizontal rolls with larger diameters determine the shape of the section steel, and a pair of rolls with smaller diameters are used for rolling edges. Good surface finish and dimensional tolerance can be obtained when the blank passes through the conventional stand and universal stand finish rolls.
