翻譯成漢語的主動句

　　將英語中的被動結(jié)構(gòu)翻譯成漢語的主動結(jié)構(gòu)時，往往可以分成以下幾種不同的情況。

　?、?保留英語原句中的主語。

　　例如：

　　1）All the tickets had been sold out when they arrived.

　　當(dāng)他們到達時，所有的票都售完了。

　　2）Theatre will be reinvented and become much freer and more imaginative.

　　戲劇將脫胎換骨，變得更為自由，更富想象力。

　　3）Nuclear power’s danger to health, safety, and even life itself can be summed up in one word: radiation.

　　核能對健康、安全、甚至對生命本身所構(gòu)成的危險可以用一個詞來概括：輻射。

　　② 將主語翻譯為賓語。

　　在動作發(fā)出者不言自明或難以言明時，英語常用被動句。而漢語在這種情況下，往往需要添加“有人”、“大家”、“別人”、“人們”之類的泛稱主語。例如：

　　1）I was told not to trust what I read in the newspaper.

　　有人告訴我不要相信報紙上的消息。

　　2）It could be argued that the radio performs this service as well, but on television everything is much more living, much more real.

　　可能有人會指出，無線電廣播同樣也能做到這一點，但還是電視屏幕上的節(jié)目要生動、真實得多。

　　3）It is generally accepted that the experiences of the child in his first years largely determine his character and later personality.

名詞譯成動詞

⑵The dependence of the rate of evaporation of a liquid ontemperature is enormous.譯為:液體的蒸發(fā)速度很大程度上取決于它的溫度。翻譯是在準(zhǔn)確、通順的基礎(chǔ)上，把一種語言信息轉(zhuǎn)變成另一種語言信息的行為。⑶W ith the use of the increased temperature and pressure,the oil is cracked into lighter or heavier fracti.譯為:利用高溫,可將石油裂化成輕餾分或重餾分。⑷Where the source is normally mounted on a horizontalp lane surface,the corresponding free field is a hem isphere,andthus sound p ressure measurements are made at points on the sur2face of the hypothetical hem isphere.譯為:在聲源正常地安裝在一個水平表面的地方,相應(yīng)的自由聲場就是一個半球面,這樣就可在相應(yīng)這個假設(shè)的半球面上的一些點測量聲壓級。

同傳譯員的基本條件

     同傳譯員的基本條件:

　　1. 精通源語與目的語（ source language and target language ）.

　　2 ．廣博的知識面.

　　這一點的重要性不言自喻，作為一個合格的同傳譯員或者交傳譯員，“ an interpreter has to know everything of something and something of everything”. 博和精都是相輔相成的。

　　3 ．出眾的聽記能力.

　　能聽懂各種口音，數(shù)字，專有術(shù)語以及一些特殊表達法。

　　說到口音可以說讓譯員頭皮發(fā)麻的事，(包括我自己也不例外)。例如：1）IwastoldnottotrustwhatIreadinthenewspaper。可以這么講，同傳或者交傳譯員如果對譯入語和譯出語的各種口音沒有一個基本的了解和變音規(guī)律的把握，那么就不是一個合格的譯員，至少在實際工作中會遇到一些非知識性的常識和錯誤。提到口音，世界各地可謂五花八門，下面舉一些各國的地方口音：

　　澳洲口音： I soy on my die I bought a big jai.

　　意思： I said on May day I ought a big jade.

　　特點：吞音現(xiàn)象頻繁，尤其是元音后的 d, 同時 ei和and ai 不分.

　　日本口音： you're right, that's our plaimaly heathcare sarvice.

　　意思 : you're right, that's our primary healthcare service.

　　特點： l and r 發(fā)音不清。

　　亞洲印巴地區(qū)口音：大雜燴.

　　特點：簡直就是四不象，同傳譯員對此為頭疼。同傳接力通常用在此種場合。更有甚者，有時優(yōu)1秀的譯員憑借豐富的經(jīng)驗根據(jù)場合做出猜測。

　　4. 敏捷的反應(yīng)力與較強的邏輯思維能力.

　　5. 極高的心理素質(zhì)（隨機應(yīng)變的能力、承受壓力的能力).

　　6. 強烈的責(zé)任感和良好的職業(yè)道德.

　　7. 不斷學(xué)習(xí)的能力.

　　8. 掌握語速及語調(diào).
