H型鋼在冷床上直立冷卻后，由輥道送至變節(jié)距輥式矯直機進行長尺矯直，經(jīng)成排臺架成排后，由冷鋸機切成6～24m定尺。切成定尺的軋件經(jīng)人工目測檢查后，進入堆垛臺架堆垛，經(jīng)打捆、稱重、標牌后進入成品臺架，由成品跨吊車吊運入庫、發(fā)貨。

開口式機架由機架底座和上橫梁組成。

開口式機架是型鋼車間常見的一種機架形式。這種機架的優(yōu)點是制造簡單，裝卸、換輥方便。其缺點是強度和剛度較低，軋輥輥跳值較大，影響產(chǎn)品精度，故只適用于大型軋機。
